Role: Logistics Maven
Hometown: Pleasant Hill, California
The thing that most excites me about my job at Trail Mavens is…
the opportunity to set the stage for fellow outdoor-loving ladies to enjoy their time together and have truly memorable adventures
"Trail Mavens is..."
getting off the grid to recharge, and learning all the hard-core camping skills you’ve always wanted to know (or brush up on), all bundled in one gorgeous natural setting with new friends. Pretty hard to beat that...
My favorite Trail Mavens adventure (so far):
a Point Reyes backpacking trip where, on our hike back by the bluffs, we saw a half dozen whales spouting just off the coast. I had never seen one do that, let alone so many… one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen!
When I’m not working for Trail Mavens, I’m…traveling up to Shasta (ideally with my paddleboard in tow!)
Five things I could never do without:
Popcorn (it should really be its own food group!)
A well-stocked library
Crafting supplies
Favorite cozy couch-lounging blanket
My friends
My secret skill is:
baking treats that incorporate adult beverages :)
My first real job:
“interpretive guide” as a teenager at the Lindsay Wildlife Museum (Talking about the animals was awesome! Cleaning up after them… not always so much)
Tell us about yourself using JUST a haiku.
Rather be outside
Travel bug bites me a lot
Always give your all
